Giuseppe Leopoldo Giaconia Baron of Migaido

The farm is situated in a historical building dating from the XVII century. It used to be the summer estate of the Duke Francesco Romano Colonna, from whom the district takes its name. In the early XVIII century, Giuseppe Leopoldo Giaconia, Baron of Migaido, bought the whole site. The building, partially renovated and enlarged at the end of the XIX century, still maintains the architectural structure typical of other ancient “Farm Estates” present in the region. Nowadays the owners, heirs of the Baron, still inhabit the estate, taking care of the building and of the grounds as well.
